Add a driver
Fleet → Drivers → Add driver. Record the licence number and its expiry — FleetOS alerts you before a licence lapses, which keeps an unlicensed driver off the road.
Give the driver app access
A driver needs a login to use the driver app. Enter their email and FleetOS sends an invitation; they set their own password. Drivers only ever see their own trips, never the rest of the fleet.
Create a trip
Fleet → Trips → New trip:
- Pick the vehicle and the driver.
- Set the origin and destination.
- Add waypoints for multi-stop runs — they are delivered in the order listed.
- Enter the freight amount if you are billing for the trip.
Trip lifecycle
Scheduled → In progress → Completed. The driver advances it from the app; dispatchers can also change it from the web.
Proof of delivery
At the end of a trip the driver captures a photo and a signature. Both are attached to the trip record and are visible from the trip's detail page.
