Refund & Cancellation Policy

Draft document — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This page is a reasonable starting template for a SaaS business and is published so the site has real policy pages, not a placeholder link. Please have it reviewed by qualified legal counsel for your jurisdiction before relying on it in a dispute.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: August 2026

Free Trials

All cloud Products offer a free trial (see the pricing page for the current trial length). No payment is taken to start a trial, so there is nothing to refund during the trial period.

Cancelling a Subscription

You can cancel anytime from within the Product's billing settings or by contacting support. Cancelling stops the next renewal charge — you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Refunds

  • Within 7 days of a first payment, if you're not satisfied, contact support for a full refund of that payment.
  • After 7 days, payments already made are generally non-refundable, since you've had continued use of the service for that period — but we review case-by-case requests (e.g. a billing error, a duplicate charge, or a service outage) and will make it right.
  • Refunds are issued back to the original payment method (via Stripe or PayFast) and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

Downgrades & Plan Changes

Switching to a lower-priced plan takes effect at the next renewal; switching to a higher plan takes effect immediately, with the price difference prorated for the rest of the current cycle.
