Kinxso People
HR & Payroll
Attendance that matches the register, payroll you can defend
HR for everyone you employ — not just the people in the office. The register, the leave balance and the payslip all agree, and every figure on the payslip explains how it was reached.

We're putting together a live look at the Kinxso People dashboard.
Where HR quietly goes wrong
If more than one of these sounds like your week, this is the part the product fixes.
“The month does not total. One day has two rows, somebody imported the biometric file twice, and nobody can say which figure is right.”
One attendance row per person per day, enforced by the database rather than by care. The raw in and out punches are kept underneath it, so the detail survives while the day stays countable.
“Somebody is marked absent on a day they were on approved leave, and it comes out of their pay.”
Approving leave writes the attendance days as part of the approval. Payroll sees them as leave, not as an unexplained absence, so approved leave never costs somebody their pay.
“Leave balances drift. Days vanish, or two requests get approved against the same remaining day.”
A request reserves the days while it waits for a decision. Approval moves the reservation to taken; a refusal or cancellation gives it back. Every path releases what it reserved.
“Nobody can explain a deduction. The payslip shows a number and the argument starts there.”
Every payslip line carries the basis it was calculated from — “45% of basic 60,000”, “3 days absent of 26”. Written when the figure was worked out, which is the only version still true later.
“Last year’s payslip changes when this year’s rates do, so what you filed and what the system now says disagree.”
Payslip figures are stored, never recalculated on open. Statutory rates are versioned by date, so re-opening an old pay run shows what was actually paid.
“A good candidate is hired and then typed into the system again from scratch, losing the whole application history.”
Hiring creates the employee record from the candidate and links the two. The interviews, the feedback and the offer all stay where they are.
Running by the end of the day
No implementation project, no consultant, no server to buy.
Add your people
Staff code, CNIC, department, shift and pay. Contractors and daily-wage workers are first-class, because that is how a large part of this market is actually employed.
Record the day
From a biometric device, the phone, or by hand on the register screen. A day set by hand always carries a reason — it is the most disputed row in any HR system.
Run the month
Payroll reads the attendance and the salary structure and produces a payslip per person. It tells you what it could not calculate instead of quietly leaving it out.
Approve and pay
Approving freezes the figures, so the run becomes a record of what was decided rather than something that moves underneath you.
Figures that can be defended
A payslip is a statement of what was paid on a date. If it recalculated itself, it would stop being one. Every amount here is stored, and every line says how it was reached.
- The basis printed beside every earning and deduction
- Amounts always positive — direction comes from the line, never a minus sign
- Approved runs are frozen and cannot be recalculated
- A run that cannot calculate something says so, loudly
Attendance
One row per person per day, with the raw punches kept beneath it. Biometric, mobile or by hand — and a hand-set day always carries a reason.
Leave
A request reserves days while it waits, approval spends them, a refusal gives them back. Weekly offs and holidays inside the range are never counted.
No rate is built into the software
EOBI, provincial social security and tax rates change with every budget and differ by province. A rate baked into a release cannot be corrected without a new release, and a guessed rate is a wrong filing — so you enter each one from the authority’s own notification, and we record which notification it came from.
- Rates versioned by date, never edited in place
- The notification reference kept beside the figure
- Provincial schemes matched to the company’s province
- A pay run names every scheme it has no rate for
Payroll
Every payslip line shows how it was worked out. Figures are stored, not recalculated, so last year’s payslip does not change when this year’s rates do.
Statutory rates
EOBI, provincial social security and tax are date-versioned data you enter from the authority’s own notification — never hard-coded, never guessed.
Built to be read by everyone, not just HR
Most of the people in an HR system never sign in to anything else. They have attendance and a payslip, not a password — so the parts they do touch are built for them.
- Six languages, with Urdu the most complete after English
- Own attendance, leave balance and payslips, nothing else
- Every status is an icon and a word, not a colour on its own
- No employee record is ever deleted — the payslips point at it
Hiring
Vacancies, candidates, interview rounds and offers. Hiring someone creates their employee record and keeps the application history intact.
Self-service
Staff see their own attendance, leave balance and payslips — in Urdu if they prefer, which most of a workforce does.
Everything Kinxso People does
Every plan gets all of it during the trial — nothing is held back to make you upgrade early.

Built for businesses like yours
Different trades, same problem: the numbers only add up when one system holds them.
Factories and mills
Shift patterns including nights, daily-wage labour, and a register that totals at the end of the month.
Retail and restaurant groups
Several outlets under one account, with attendance per location and one payroll per legal entity.
Services and offices
Leave policy, probation and confirmation, and a hiring pipeline that does not live in a spreadsheet.
Groups with more than one company
Payroll is filed per legal entity, so companies never share a pay run — but one subscription covers them all.
Before you start
The attendance API takes raw in and out punches with a device identifier, which is what a biometric export is. A direct integration with a specific machine is not built yet — punches can be posted to the API or days entered on the register screen.
No, deliberately. Nothing statutory ships filled in. You enter each rate from the authority’s own notification, and the system records which notification it came from so the figure can be defended later. A pay run with no rates still calculates gross pay correctly and tells you plainly what it did not deduct.
Yes. An employee login shows their own record, attendance, leave balance and issued payslips — and nothing else. The self-service screens take no employee number at all, so there is nothing to change in order to see somebody else’s pay.
Only if you give them a payroll role. A line manager can approve their team’s leave and see their attendance without salary ever appearing.
Yes. Statutory deductions can be switched off per person for a genuine contractor, and daily and hourly pay are supported alongside monthly.
Changes pause, but reading does not. You can still open your people, attendance, leave and payslips — an employer who has stopped paying still needs last month’s payslips. Nothing is deleted.
