More than one shop
POS Cloud handles several shops under one account. Each shop keeps its own stock, its own till and its own numbers, and reports can be read per shop or across all of them.
What is scoped to a shop
Stock is per shop. A product's stock figure belongs to the shop holding it, which is why a transfer between shops is a recorded movement rather than an edit.
Takings are per shop. Sales, shifts and drawer counts belong to the till that made them.
Staff are scoped to the shops they work in. A cashier at one branch cannot sell from another branch's stock or see its takings. This is deliberate and it is enforced on the server, not just hidden in the interface.
Adding a shop
Create the shop, then assign the staff who work there. New stock starts at zero — bring it in with a purchase or an opening-stock entry rather than editing figures by hand.
Terminals
Several people can use the same shop at once, each signed in as themselves. Give every person their own PIN: a shared PIN means the by-employee report cannot tell you who sold what, and a till shortfall has no owner.
Comparing branches
Comparing branches on their most-selling lines is usually more informative than comparing totals. Two shops of different sizes should not take the same money, but they should both be selling the things that move.
The getting-started chapter of the POS Cloud manual covers setup order.
